What Matters More?

You are planning a wedding, and you have a close friend living abroad who is supposed to show up. Let’s say his/her flight is approximately three million (3 million) Naira for going and coming.

There is the option of this close friend to either show up physically to mark your special day, or send the money (3 million Naira), which was supposed to be for his/her flight to you as financial support, and not show up.

What option will you take: their presence or the money?

3 million Naira can go a long way in helping with wedding expenses or future plans. It’s a significant amount that can ease some financial burden.

Presence would be nice, but money talks, especially when it comes to wedding costs. You can always catch up with your friend another time.

  2. There are close friends whose energy will worth more to me than the 3m

On the long run, it depends on who the closeness of the person to me.

  3. Honestly, it’s a decision for the friend to make. If she/he is willing to spend that much to come to my wedding, that’s beautiful, and if she/he feels they’d rather send that much money to me, that’s great as well. Either of the two gestures will be well appreciated.

  5. Depending on the circumstance, a 3 million will go a long way tho, plus we can always catch up some other times.
Either ways it’s still left for him/her to decide.
