Season One

Episode Five…

Seeing the love of his life’s pair of slippers and hearing her moaning pleasures broke Adams’s heart into a million pieces. It left his heart completely and utterly shattered. In that instant, Adams could literally feel his heart tearing apart.

Angrily, he stormed out of the environment. His friend who took him there for the sake of evidence laughed at Adams, saying, “You see what you have done to yourself?” Like a wounded lion, Adams went straight home. When he got home, he isolated himself and licked his wound. There and then, Adams decided that he did not want to set his eyes on her ever again, but we all know the decisions we make when we are hurt and betrayed beyond words. He also decided that the previous night would be the last time he would meet Abida up at the fence for their rendezvous; something that began to sound like foolishness to Adams now.  

Also, Adams did not bother to confront Abida about what he saw, because after the whole incident, Adams’s eyes of understanding were opened to the escapades of Abida and this particular young man who happened to be her ex-boyfriend, and unfortunately, it seemed as though it was popular news around the area…well, except to the ears of a madly-in-love Adams.

Adams’s life went from happiness to sadness in a swift second. He shed premium tears, which drove Adams into writing a diary. He would write while crying at the same time, trying to pen down the heartrending feeling he was having.

 

The next day, Adams fell sick and was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, he was diagnosed of malaria, but Adams knew that even though the doctor’s diagnosis was correct, the heartbreak triggered the whole thing. Then he was admitted in the hospital.

That was two days to Adams’s transition exam into SS 3.

Malaria treatment began on Adams, but two days later, Adams was not getting any better. Worse, Adams wrote his exams from the sick bed. He would be allowed to go for his exams and then return to the hospital to continue treatment. Much later, Adams was discharged from the hospital. When he got home, Adams became a calm and reserved boy who began to enjoy staying indoors more than anything else. Only two of Adams’s friends knew exactly what was wrong with Adams. They would swing by and make jest of his situation; the typical fashion of boys.

Then one day, while Adams was writing on his diary, he dozed off…
